Administrative details

You should be aware of the tings that you must attend to before commencement of your flying activities.

MAAC membership is mandatory. MAAC does not offer the benefits of membership to non subscribing members of the public. They provide club charters and field insurance on the basis that all individuals of a club are members of MAAC and thus they extend to the protection of MAAC insurance to the individual modeler and owners of the flying site. Note: Should your aircraft be involved in an accident causing property damage, MAAC insurance carries a $500.00 deductible.

Club Membership is also mandatory. Non-club members are not entitled to use of the flying facility or the help of an instructor. The club has specific rules for introductory flights, guest flyers who are members of another club and past HCRCC members who have paid their capital assessment fee and now reside in another cit.

You should familiarize yourself with the MAAC safety codes and all the rules and regulations that govern the use of the HCRCC flying site. The intent is to ensure that you are aware of the basic rules that apply to flying so that you can become a safe flyer. Also, violation of any of these rules may result in your flying privileges being revoked.
