Field Cleanup Day

Field Cleanup -
We will gather for a major cleanup at the field.  This will include removal of broken fencing behind club house, repair of the club house floor, and other stuff.   

Start time is 12-noon.  The more volunteers we have the quicker we get done. We should be done around 4pm or so.

Yesterday 10 members answered the call and gathered at the field in the face of blizzard conditions for the Field Cleanup event.   It was a success and we were done in about 45 minutes.  The focus was breaking down and hauling away the old pilot stations made from ABS pipe.  After we gathered for coffee and stories.  Doug enthralled us with UAV stories. 
 
Thanks goes out to new members Claude, Malcom McCauley, Doug Green, and veteran members Dave Kerr, Greg Lock, Ron Prokopchuk, Howard McKay, Art Cey, and Brian Korchinski.  A bigger thank you goes out to the organizer of the event, Duncan Campbell, for doing the bulk of the work in advance, for organizing us, and for not cancelling in the face of falling snow.
